New England at Buffalo
This was a evenly matched game. Pressure was even in terms of hits. The Patriots generated more sacks. Yards were about even and the turnovers were identical. New England won this one because they were more effective in the red zone, 67% compared to 33%.
Arizona at Detroit
Despite some shoddy quarterback play, the Lions played a very competitive game. The hits and turnovers were even. The difference was yardage and the red zone. Arizona gained 60 more yards and were perfect in the red zone, while the Lions went just 33%.
Miami at Tennessee
I figured this one was going to be close, and I went with Miami, due to the injury Vince Young suffered last week. Miami dominated in field position with 100 more total yards, and limited the Titans to just one failed red zone conversion. However, they hurt themselves by going just 40% in the red zone, and lost the turnover battle at -2.
Cleveland at Kansas City
This was a wild one. Two huge returns from Joshua Cribbs- the best special teams player in the NFL. Those return touchdowns were the difference in the ball game. The pressure was even. Each team had a 50% conversion rate in the red zone. The Chiefs had a 20 yard advantage in yardage, and won the turnover war at +2.
