San Diego at Dallas
The Dallas December free fall is in full swing. This was a game that they could have easily won, as the numbers sway into their favor. The yards and red zone opportunities and percentages were virtually identical. The Cowboys created slightly more pressure on Philip Rivers, and went +1 in turnover differential. Another a nice win by the Chargers, who have a punchers chance at taking the AFC crown in the playoffs.
Philadelphia at New York Giants
This was the most exciting game of the week. The Giants had their opportunities, as they went 75% in the red zone, gained 140 more yards of offense, and held the ball for 10 additional minutes. However, the Eagles were able to pressure Eli Manning to the tune of eight hits, while protecting Donovan McNabb. They also went 60% in the red zone, and had a +3 turnover advantage.
Arizona at San Francisco
Big win for the 49ers. They flat out dominated a talented Arizona team. San Francisco sacked Warner four times, went 67% in the red zone, gained 80 more yards, held the ball for 14 more minutes, and caused a whopping seven (Yes. Seven) turnovers. Their turnover differential was +5. The 49ers most likely won't make the playoffs, but this is the type of game a young team can build upon.
