Week 14 NFL Preview- Part 4

San Diego at Dallas
Another matchup on the slate between two division leaders. The Chargers are streaking, while Dallas hit a roadblock in New York last week. San Diego protects better, is more effective in red zone, and has a much higher turnover differential. Dallas generates more pressure, plays better red zone defense, and has moved the ball more effectively. It will be close, but that gap in turnover differential sways the game in the Chargers direction. Final score 28-20 San Diego.

Philadelphia at New York Giants
This is the game of the week. It can't get any better than an NFC East matchup in December. Can it? The yards gained and allowed between these teams are even, red zone offense is similar, and in terms of hits, protection and pressure is almost identical. The Eagles have more sacks on the season, while the Giants have allowed fewer sacks. Philadelphia is much more effective defensively in the red zone, and not only create more turnovers, but protect the ball better. Final score 31-24 Philadelphia.

Arizona at San Francisco
A big division matchup here. The 49ers are fighting for an outside shot at the playoffs, while the Cardinals are attempting the wrap up the division. The numbers all favor Arizona. They protect much better, average 70 more yards per game, and more effective in the red zone. It will be a game with the Cardinals pulling away in the second half. Final score 35-24 Arizona.
