I thought this game was going to be closer than it ended up. First, Carson Palmer has to throw for more than 94 yards, if the Bengals want to advance deep into the playoffs. Both teams were able to generate pressure on the passer, and were even in the turnover battle. Minnesota had 110 more yards of offense, and went 60% in the red zone with three more opportunities. Big win for the Vikings
Carolina at New England
A lot of people are going to get caught up in the whole Randy Moss saga. Yes, he had a terrible game, and took a few plays off. But does anyone realize that the Patriots actually won the game? The Pats kept Tom Brady clean, while placing moderate pressure on Matt Moore. And in spite of going -3 in the turnover department, New England went 67% in the red zone, and gained 70 more yards of offense.
New York Jets at Tampa Bay
This was an all-out drubbing by the Jets, and they should have won by more. They were able to pressure Josh Freeman, which led to their +2 turnover advantage, and allowed just 124 yards of offense. The Jets went just 33% in the red zone, so their margin of victory could have been wider.
Miami at Jacksonville
This was a hard-hitting game. Both teams were able to pressure the quarterback. However, the Dolphins kept Jacksonville in this one with a -3 turnover differential. Miami went perfect in the red zone, while holding the Jaguars to 50%, gained 130 more yards of offense, and held the ball for 10 additional minutes.
